Geo-Botanical

.

An interior project, focused on geometric patterns. Imagery of cacti and succulents informed the pattern making process, and choice of materials for the collection.

Waxy, coated fabrics, and natural linen fabrics have been used, alongside paper yarns.

Reflective tape and glow in the dark yarns have been used to create embellishment through hand and digital embroidery. This stemmed from the idea of self-protection and camouflage.

The designs are intended to be used as cushion designs and sheer, organza blinds.
